Wednesday
Wednesday always seems to be just such a drab day; whether it be on tv or just in real life. Wednesday is lame, too far away from Friday and not far enough away from Monday. You know the feeling you get when you are at work and you realize it is only Wednesday. Ahh…the horror. The networks don’t give us much to come home to either, but at least we have Lost back for the second season. Cheer up, the weekend is only a few days away.

New Shows
Freddie: A successful chef living in Chicago
E-Ring: It's a hub of explosive conflicts between our military heroes and the civilians to whom they report, a world where crises can escalate into life-and-death climaxes for individuals and entire nations. It's often a delicate balance between protecting the homeland, all of mankind or the life of a lone soldier.
Criminal Minds: An elite group of profilers analyze the nation's most dangerous criminal minds in an effort to anticipate their next moves before they strike again.
Invasion: From famed writer/producer Shaun Cassidy (Cold Case, American Gothic, Cover Me) comes a suspenseful tale of a blended family trying to recover from a devastating hurricane and its mysterious aftermath
Head Cases: Head Cases centers on a successful lawyer who has a nervous breakdown and teams up with a mentally disturbed lawyer with an anger problem. Together, the two represent people with all kinds of issues, not just legal ones.
The Apprentice: Martha Stewart: Insert Martha Stewart to the role of Donald Trump, replace “you’re Fired” with the less abrasive and less potent “You just don’t fit in” and you have a spin off.
Related: From executive producer Marta Kauffman (Friends, Dream On) comes a one-hour comedic ensemble drama about family and the special bonds that unite four loving and inseparable sisters. The Sorelli sisters are a bundle of contradictions. These quirky young women are best friends one minute and bitter enemies the next. They confide in one another, keep secrets, give advice and push each other's buttons. Though they now make their homes in Manhattan Brooklyn
What to Watch
: Not too much going on in the early evening on Wednesday night. I would stick with That 70’s Show as a light comedy, smoothing breezy. I have watched Still Standing and it isn’t horrible. I like Jami Gertz, and Mark Addy is a good compliment. It is a fun show, I will probably go back and forth between these shows for the year, without committing to one or the other.
: I don’t understand how Yes, Dear is still on TV?
: This is a no-brainer, Lost was one of my favorite shows last year and I can only imagine it will get better. Somehow they are bringing in a few new characters. Michelle Rodriguez is one who was briefly on at the end of last season. It will surely be an interesting year. This season will go a long way to determine if this show will be able to stand up for 5 years or so. So far, so good.
: You should still be watching Lost in this time slot. There are not any new entries, every show that starts at is an hour long show. I have heard very good things about Veronica Mars, it is a shame they put it up against a monster like Lost.
: I was a little disappointed in CSI:NY last year. I don’t like the way that certain actors go over the top (with accents and what-not) to make sure we know that they are in New York
So there we have it. Wednesday starts off slow, get very hot in the middle and then keeps you warm at night with some classics. Lost is clearly the best show of the night, and possibly one of the top shows on TV.
